CLBC will have a limited Sunday service this Sunday May 31st at 10:45 am and an alternative service on Saturday May 30th at 10:00 am (sermon only). However, things are going to be a little bit different. Sermon will continue to be recorded and posted on Sundays for those that stay home.
Please note: People aged 65 or older, those with serious underlying medical conditions, those with young children, or others that do not feel comfortable going out yet should remain home. Please under no circumstance feel obligated to come until comfortable.
What is the CLBC priority in reopening?
Love God and Love People according to the greatest commandment (Matthew 22:37-40). Our mission is to spread the hope, joy and peace of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to the lost. It is the goal of the church to be able to meet in person again while abiding by the guidance provided by county and state authorities.
At this time the entire globe, the state, our city, and our neighbors are still under great fear and anxiety due to the damage of the virus. Our priority is to lead by example of the love provided through the Lord. Our desire is to proceed carefully and minimize risks of unnecessary exposure through implementing carful processes to eliminate potential of further spread of the virus and to not create panic or hurt relationships within the community.
Where will we meet?
Due to the 25% capacity requirement (maximum 100), our auditorium can occupy 50 people, first come first serve. We will have an overflow room available in the gym once the capacity is reached.
Don’t want to risk the potential crowd but still want to listen live?
Come on Saturday at 10:00 am (sermon only) in auditorium during the recording of the sermon for online viewers.
What to expect on Sunday?
Bring your face mask (cloth masks) with you, masks will be required by all to enter the meeting room. We also recommend to bring personal hand sanitizers to remain safe during the visit. Be prepared to remain at a minimum 6 feet distance from others in different households and refrain from touching things unnecessarily. Entrance to the auditorium will only be available through the front doors. At this time there will be no congregational singing. There will also be no children’s programs or nursery provided during the service. Children must remain with household at all times. Parents/guardians are responsible to keep their children from touching others or unnecessary surfaces.
This description does not exhaust the current measures that will be taken to ensure limited exposure to the virus and protection of attenders. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Our goal is to worship the Lord together but to do so without risking anyone.
We love you all and can’t wait to see you soon.
